These children are dealing with war, conflict, natural disaster, abuse, and displacement in some of the most desperate places around the world yet somehow you can still see the hope, strength, and happiness in their eyes.
Over the past 2 years 4 million people around the world have seen these 49 photographs as they traveled with Sting and The Police on their recent reunion tour and were shown on massive screens behind the band during each of their 100+ concerts.
This video captures moments for a historic trip sponsored by the Indo-Pak Forum of Peace Action Network. The trip brought 133 of India's top business leaders to Pakistan for three days, and included time with President Musharraf at the presidential palace. All but two of these Indian YPOers had never visited Pakistan before, and given the restrictions on travel between the countries, had to walk across the border in order to enter the country. During the group's visit with President Musharraf, he announced his decision to open air travel between the countries.
