"Better Leaders Through Education and Idea Exchange."

Bobby's active involvement in YPO ranges from talking to entrepreneurs on a global scale to acting as a moderator for small groups of members. YPOers come together to gain “only in YPO” insight by taking away the distorting filters and operating with Forum confidentiality and protocol.

These Forum groups have included members from both sides of conflicts, Israelis and Palestinians, Indians and Pakistanis, Jews and Muslims, Turks and Greeks, and Americans and Arabs. This original effort has now expanded into a series of networks within YPO that cover issues ranging from the environment and clean water, to education and corporate responsibility.

The idea behind YPO initiatives, specifically within the Peace Action Network, is to mobilize and engage the moderates on both sides of conflict. Example: Change the calculus from Israel vs. Palestine to the moderates from both places vs. the extremists from both places. Each time members from both sides come together, friendships and alliances begin to grow and a concrete baby step is achieved; and in a world overwhelmed by so many issues, throwing up our hands in simply not an option. Concrete baby steps matter, especially when you add everyone's together.

Peace Action Network

The Peace Action Network catalyzes YPO and WPO’s unique global network of business leaders to make a difference in areas of conflict and to build bridges across national, cultural, religious and ethnic boundaries. PAN is able to catalyze these efforts through forums of business leaders in conflict areas: India/Pakistan, Middle East, Greece/Turkey, Jewish/Arab/Muslim Americans (JAMA) and US/Arab countries (American Arab Action Forum). The Forum meetings between YPOers from India and Pakistan and the Middle East Forum initiated historic exchanges of business leaders with significant regional impact.
